To whoever is reading this, welcome to my first post woohoooo :D

Have created first blog (my new favourite word, blog blog blog.) as part of college media assignment. first task is to basically come up with the idea that will consume rather a lot of my time between now and February '11, and also make up my overall grade. uh oh.

To be fair, I am not really 100% sure on what the brief really is right now, and i have only been an A2 student for one day, so apologies for the unoriginal and cheesy ideas. Here goes:

Idea One:

increase in eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia etc.) within teenagers and/or females

the "size zero" debate

relate to media:

• pro ana/mia websites
• celebrities
• models in fashion articles/magazines/television adverts
• tv shows (cook yourself thin, etc.)

the advantages of focusing on this particular topic means that............
